Product (RED) iPhone 7

Apple has introduced a new iPhone 7 color to the lineup today! Here is everything you need to know about the new PRODUCT RED iPhone 7.

Why did it take so long to release this color?

This is a good question. The answer is, analytics. It is said that Apple uses precise measurements and only released certain products at a very strategic time to get the most  out of it (money and sales). Based on years of research, Apple has decided that the best time to release this product is now because this is the time where Samsung will be releasing their Galaxy S8 flagship device and to take away some of that hype, they had to release a little refresh of the iPhone to get back some of that attention.

How will this help in the fight of AIDS?

Apple has had PRODUCT RED items for a long time now where if you buy a PRODUCT RED iPod, Case, etc. you will be helping in the fight of AIDS because a small percentage of that price goes toward the fight. Apple has been doing this for a long time now and has made an amazing impact on the fight of AIDS. The PRODUCT RED iPhone 7 will contribute towards the fight even more because this is a device that lots a people will buy.

Has the iPhone been upgraded at all?

No, this phone is identical to the regular iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. No specs or anything has changed, just the color. Just like the Jet Black model, you can only buy this phone in the 128GB and 256Gb models, $749 for the iPhone 7 PRODUCT RED and $869 for the iPhone 7 Plus PRODUCT RED.

My opinion

This phone looks amazing but I really don’t like how the front of the device is white. Lots of people agree that this phone would look so much nicer if the front was black with black antenna lines instead of white bezels and red antenna lines. I love how Apple is supporting a great cause but they could’ve done better.
