Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus Leak Side By Side
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus have just leaked in a number of new real life images. There are 7 new images in the gallery down below, for you to check out, and they’re showing off the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus up close and personal. One image, in particular, lets you take a look at these two smartphones side-by-side, and as you can see, the Galaxy S8 Plus is a noticeably larger smartphone. Other than that, these two phones seem to be completely identical in terms of the design, which is exactly what we’ve expected, based on previous leaks, that is.
Both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus sport a curved display, and not that many bezel. In fact, bezels are not present on the left or the right side of these two phones, though only above and below the display, and even those bezels are quite thin. The fact that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus don’t have as many bezel made it possible for Samsung to include rather large displays in these two smartphones. The Galaxy S8 will, allegedly, sport a 5.8-inch display, while the Galaxy S8 Plus will ship with a 6.2-inch panel. Both of those displays are QHD Super AMOLED panels, manufactured by Samsung, at least that’s what rumors have been suggesting. The two devices will sport on-screen buttons, which means that Samsung finally decided to ditch the physical home key, and two capacitive keys that were flanking it.
The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will sport one physical key on the right, the power / lock button, while they’ll have a couple of them on the left. In addition to the volume up and volume down buttons, you’ll also get a dedicated Bixby AI physical key, which will be placed below the volume rocker. Samsung’s upcoming flagships will ship with a bottom-firing speaker, next to which you’ll get the Type-C USB port, and on the other side lies a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Snapdragon 835 SoC will fuel these two phones in some markets, while the Exynos 8895 will be included in other markets. Both devices will probably pack in 4GB of RAM, and Android Nougat will come pre-installed on both phones, along with Samsung’s custom UI, of course. Samsung will unveil these two handsets on March 29, so stay tuned for that.
